The key to the work of Kahn

I travelled to Philadelphia in September 2008 to visit some houses of architect Louis Kahn. Amongst other houses, I saw Esherick House. Looking at other buildings in a book on his work, I made the visual reference to the Salk Lake Institute in LA. Maybe it is coincidence. Maybe it had a purpose… Can someone help me out?

is the single most out pouring of loves expression in architechure to all of humankind on the planet . I have yet to visit the Salk Institute in La Jolla and to this I can’t wait, any body want to join me?
